In Gujarat Titans (GT) match against Punjab Kings on Tuesday, March 25, Sai Sudharsan’s frightening 41-ball 74-run effort came to an abrupt end when Shashank Singh comfortably clung on to a misplaced delivery by Arshdeep Singh at the deep backward square leg fence.
The top-order Southpaw’s flip came at a good moment. But under duress, Shashank was quick to shift to his right and make a reverse cupped catch. The home team lost to PBKS by 11 runs after Sudharsan was dismissed because they were never able to maintain the necessary net run rate.

Earlier in the evening, PBKS scored 243 runs primarily thanks to captain Shreyas Iyer’s incredible IPL-best undefeated 97. Halfway through the 16th over of the first innings, Shashank arrived and played a brilliant knock.
He gave PBKS a late boost by hitting five fours in the final over.
Of all the GT bowlers, Sai Kishore was the most frugal.
A truly powerful exhibition of offensive batting smashed all the others around the park.
