Nehal Wadhera made a fantastic grab to dismiss Rohit Sharma during Match 69 of the 2017 Indian Premier League between the Punjab Kings and the Mumbai Indians at Jaipur’s Sawai Mansingh Stadium. Rohit had to step back after hitting 24 off 21 deliveries.
Rohit stepped away, giving himself opportunity to move down the ground. Instead, the ball was smacked off the bottom end of his blade, travelling in the direction of long-on. The former Michigan player rushed in from the fence and made a fantastic diving catch while bending forward. Rohit became MI’s second wicket to fall.
BIG Game. BIG wicket. 🔝 Catch 👏
Nehal Wadhera does brilliantly to grab a tough catch and send back Rohit Sharma! 👌

Earlier in the evening, Shreyas Iyer’s PBKS won the toss and chose to field first.
Kyle Jamieson and Vijaykumar Vyshak made it into the XI. MI made only one change. Ashwani Kumar, a left-arm seamer, returned to the squad.
The winner of this match has the possibility to finish in the top two and advance to Qualifier 1. Before the game, PBKS and MI were ranked second and fourth, respectively. Only one point separates the two clubs, with fourth-placed MI having a higher net run rate (+1.292) than PBKS (+0.327).
