Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) wicketkeeper Jitesh Sharma made two outstanding catches during the game between the Delhi Capitals (DC) and RCB. Both skiers were under pressure to get rid of Abhishek Porel then and DC opener Jake Fraser-McGurk first during a pivotal moment in the match.
It was crucial that they get off to a strong start with the ball because the RCB hitters were unable to score many runs in the first innings.
That is precisely what they achieved, taking three wickets during the powerplay and immediately applying pressure to the DC hitters. Swing bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar perfectly set up both batters for Jitesh’s two catches. Porel was already having trouble getting started, as was Fraser-McGurk.
During cross-batted shots on a Bengaluru pitch where the ball did not appear to slip into the bat at all, Kumar dismissed the pair off a back-of-a-length delivery. Jitesh had the gloves on, but it still appeared to be a really tough chance since the ball was in the air for a considerable amount of time. Although it appeared that the 31-year-old goalie first botched both receptions, he did not appear to be deterred and ultimately took both.

Speaking of the match, RCB suffered a six-wicket loss. Though DC started at a sedate pace they did not get flustered as the asking rate kept on climbing. As they were chasing only 164 they decided to keep wickets in hand and attack later which worked in their favour.
