On Monday, April 28, during Match 47 of the current Indian Premier League (IPL) between the Rajasthan Royals and Gujarat Titans at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur, Shimron Hetmyer made a spectacular running grab to eliminate Washington Sundar. With this outstanding move, the Caribbean cricketer removed Sundar for 13 off eight deliveries.
Sundar misplayed a slower delivery from Sandeep Sharma off the bottom of the bat. Near mid-off, the ball was predicted to fall just past the 30-yard circle after being cut in the air. Hanging on to the catch, Hetmyer rushed in from deep extra-cover. The professional cricket player put out a great effort, covering a lot of territory while Yudhvir Singh ran from wide cover.

GT ended their innings on 209/4. It was RR who won the toss and opted to field first. Skipper, Shubman Gill, top-scored with 84 to his name. Wicketkeeper-batter Jos Buttler ended up unbeaten on 50 off 26 balls.
Other than Maheesh Theekshana and Sandeep Sharma, all the other bowlers from RR were dispatched by the GT batters. Theekshana ended up with a two-wicket haul to his name. Yudhvir conceded 38 runs in his three overs, whereas Jofra Archer gave away 49 in his four-over quota.
