On Sunday, March 23, during Match 2 of the 2025 Indian Premier League between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Rajasthan Royals, (RR) Abhinav Manohar held onto a sensational grab at point to eliminate Yashasvi Jaiswal.
Even though it seemed like the ball might reach the boundary, Manohar’s full-stretch effort made sure Jaiswal was out for just one run off five deliveries. After a two-handed leap, the batting all-rounder managed to grab onto the ball with his left hand thanks to a mix of quick reactions and athleticism.

Head struck 67 off 31 deliveries, while Kishan hammered an undefeated 106 off just 47 balls, including 11 fours and six sixes, in his first IPL match for SRH.
The Orange Army supporters went into a frenzy after Manohar’s effort, which was Jaiswal’s major wicket. In the same over, Simarjeet Singh took out Riyan Parag, significantly threatening RR’s chances of reaching the enormous 287-run total.
Travis Head and Ishan Kishan’s flashy knocks earlier in the day helped the home squad destroy the RR bowling unit.
