The Delhi Capitals (DC) defeated the Gujarat Titans (GT) by a dominant score of 199/3 in 20 overs in a match that was vital for playoff participation. With an undefeated 112 off 65 balls, including 14 fours and 4 sixes, DC starter KL Rahul provided a masterful batting display that anchored the innings. In his whole IPL career, Rahul scored five hundreds.
After winning the toss, GT captain Shubman Gill chose to bowl first. DC temporarily substituted Mustafizur Rahman for Mitchell Starc, who was unable to play. However, a cricket player from Bengaluru put up a strong display, grabbing the lead from the beginning of the innings to the end.
