The Kolkata Knight Riders’ historic Trophy Tour extended the joy of their third IPL championship to the Gateway of Northeast India on Sunday as it arrived in Siliguri.
The magnificent and picturesque Coronation Bridge, which links Siliguri and Darjeeling, was where the journey started. At the ISKCON, the spectators had a once-in-a-lifetime chance to witness the defending champions’ magnificence as the coveted trophy was displayed amid Siliguri’s immaculate garden.
Siliguri saw a huge turnout to celebrate KKR’s 2024 title-winning season. The supporters gathered to view the magnificent IPL trophy and had the chance to snap photos with it.
The caravan for KKR’s Trophy Tour will travel to Patna on March 7 and Durgapur on March 9 as the excitement of the new season grows, with the trip ending in Kolkata on March 16. The season’s first game between the Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bengaluru will take place at Eden Gardens on March 22.
