He did not specify the dates of the playoffs or the championship game, and the full schedule is still pending, even if he did confirm the opening date.
It’s important to remember that the recent BCCI meeting included discussions on the responsibilities that lie ahead, as well as decisions about the appointment of the new treasurer and secretary. The next meeting is set for the following Sunday, January 19, and it is anticipated that the same will be done.
In addition, the venue selections for the next season of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) fall outside of the IPL. A new commissioner for a one-year term has also been appointed by the IPL. Interestingly, the BCCI’s next meeting is set for 18-19 January and will focus on choosing the Champions Trophy team that India will field.
