Skipper Shubamn Gill scored 38 off 27, which included four fours and a si, while Jos Buttler played a fine knock as he scored 39 off 24 with the help of five fours and a six. Sai Sudarshan’s 63 off 41 was highly important in the context of the match, as it helped his team score more than a par score.

2. GT collapse from 179/3 to 196/8

While the top three were brilliant, the Titans witnessed a collapse towards the end of the innings. The home side was 179/3 after 17.5 overs and seemed good to post beyond 200. But in the last 13 balls, the hosts lost five wickets for just 17 runs as Mumbai Indians closed out the innings well.

The hosts got a brilliant start, as Mohammed Siraj claimed two wickets with the new ball. The star bowler delivered a peach of a delivery to get rid of Rohit Sharma, one of the key wickets of the opponents. He then got rid of Ryan Rickleton and put his team in a firm position in the game.
