CSK has won the IPL four times, while MI has won it five times. The years that Super Kings won the IPL were 2010, 2011, 2018, and 2021. The years that MI won the IPL were 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2020. It will also tie Rohit Sharma, the captain of MI, with MS Dhoni as the most successful leader.
MS Dhoni will be the IPL’s leader with the most wins at the age of 37.
MS Dhoni, CSK’s supreme leader, has always been a strong supporter of the team. If they beat Gujarat Titans in the final, MS Dhoni would be the oldest captain in IPL history to win the title at age 41. It will also be a huge turning point in the story of the Indians.

If Ruturaj Gaikwad gets 36 runs or more in the final and CSK wins, he will be the only player to have scored 600+ runs for an IPL team in two different seasons where they won the title. In IPL 2021, the batter for Chennai got 635 runs, but he or she only got 564 runs this season.
