Ishan Kishan, a star wicketkeeper, scored his first IPL 2025 century to mark his Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) debut. In the 13th over of the innings, he showed the crowd a variety of incredible strokes, including three soaring sixes off Jofra Archer, which was one of the innings’ biggest highlights.
Kishan reached the score at the end of the first innings with just 47 deliveries, remaining undefeated in his innings of 106. His knock included half a dozen sixes and eleven fours. The 26-year-old southpaw, who was instrumental in helping his club to 286-6, the second-highest total in IPL history, had the ideal start. In their match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium last season, SRH came within one run of their highest total.
Kishan scored Jofra Archer’s three sixes on the first three deliveries alone, and they were pure perfection. Kishan’s pickup shot over the keeper’s head, which was nearly identical to his former MI teammate Suryakumar Yadav’s hallmark shot, was the first six. He perfectly timed the following two inside-out strokes over cover, combining power and style in the next two sixes.

Ishan Kishan return to India is anticipated.
This was a significant innings for Kishan, who has been out of the spotlight for a while. He lost his central contract and hasn’t played for India since November 2023 against Australia, in addition to being released by the Mumbai Indians prior to the IPL 2025 auction.
Kishan will be looking to get his career back on track by playing more outstanding hits like this one. Kishan has experienced many highs and lows along the way, and this competition may be his moment to get the selectors’ notice.
