Ishan Kishan of Sunrisers Hyderabad was seen attacking with the bat during the team’s intra-squad practice matches in preparation for the next Indian Premier League season.
A sample of his explosive 24-ball 64 and 30-ball 73*-run knocks was shared by the team on their official X feed. From the brief video, Kishan seems comfortable facing pacers and spinners, dismissing nearly every ball that was sent at him with smooth elegance.

Ishan Kishan joined the SRH unit during last November’s two-day big auction in Jeddah.
The Orange Army purchased the left-handed top-order batsman for INR 11.25 crore when the Mumbai Indians dropped him prior to the event. Given the way Kishan was hitting the ball in the video, he might seriously challenge Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma, the opening pair who are already well-established.
This 26-year-old southpaw has experience in the IPL. He will play in the prestigious 20-over tournament for the tenth time in the 2025 IPL. In the 2018 edition, he joined the MI unit after playing with the now-defunct Gujarat Lions in 2016 and 2017. He has since contributed to the league’s joint-most successful team with a number of significant innings. At a strike rate of 135.86, Kishan has amassed 2,644 runs ahead of the forthcoming season.
SRH had placed second in the last competition. They lost to the Kolkata Knight Riders despite having a fantastic run to the final. The one-time victors will need to improve on Kishan’s performance if they want to advance this time. Pat Cummins will once again be in charge of SRH, although it’s unclear if he’ll be ready for the opening game. The Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad will host their season opener against the Rajasthan Royals on Sunday, March 23.
