Yashasvi Jaiswal, the top opener for the Rajasthan Royals (RR), recently made a mysterious social media post after the IPL 2025 ended, sparking rumours that he would leave the team.
This message was sent soon after the Royals defeated the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi, chasing down 188 with six wickets and 17 balls remaining to complete their campaign.
Jaiswal joined Vaibhav Suryavanshi in a 37-run opening partnership with a 36 off 19 balls.
He praised the franchise for the possibilities and talked about his experience with them in his article. He also looks forward to the upcoming challenge.
“Thank you for everything, Rajasthan Royals. Even though it wasn’t the season we had hoped for, we should still be thankful for our shared trip. He stated on his Instagram post, “On to the next challenge and whatever the future brings YBJ 64.”

The Southpaw has become as the league’s most reliable and consistent opener since being selected by RR for INR 2.40 crore in 2020. He finished as Rajasthan’s leading scorer in the IPL 2025 season, with 559 runs from 14 games at an average of 43.00 and a strike rate of 159.71.
In 67 IPL games over the course of the six seasons, he has amassed 2,166 runs at a strike rate of 152.85, with two hundreds and 15 half-centuries. Additionally, he earned a position in the Indian team in every format because to his performances.
Notably, he finished 2024 as the second-highest run scorer in Test matches. He is currently getting ready for his debut Test trip of England. Prior to ultimately opting to stay with Mumbai, Jaiswal had also contemplated relocating to Goa for domestic cricket.
