The 15-member Indian team for the forthcoming three-match Test series against New Zealand has been selected by the All India Men’s Selection Committee.
There has been no alteration to the Indian lineup for the Bangladesh Test series; Rohit Sharma will lead the team. But this time, the BCCI has unveiled the team along with Jasprit Bumrah, who has been named vice-captain.
Alongside Rohit in the top order will be players like Virat Kohli, Shubman Gill, and Yashasvi Jaiswal; Sarfaraz Khan has also secured a spot. For the Indian team, the three choices for wicketkeeping are KL Rahul, Rishabh Pant, and Dhruv Jurel.
The three spin-bowling all-rounders are Ravindra Jadeja, Ravinchandran Ashwin, and Axar Patel; the other left-arm spinner among the fifteen is Kuldeep Yadav. For the Rohit Sharma-led team, Akash Deep, Mohammed Siraj, and Bumrah will be leading the pace department.

As stated by numerous reports, Bumrah would be Rohit’s deputy, implying that the talented pacer might take the team’s captaincy in the event that Rohit misses some of the Australian tour.
