After winning the T20 World Cup 2024, Jasprit Bumrah returned to action on September 19 with the first Test match against Bangladesh. In the opening Test, he was all of his typical self, taking five wickets. India won the series 2-0 thanks to his persistent attack, which saw him take six wickets in the second Test. He became the world’s top bowler in Tests by doing this, surpassing Ravichandran Ashwin.
