The Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) has announced a historic three-year broadcast partnership with JioStar for Season 2 of the Delhi Premier League (DPL). As part of this partnership, all matches will be televised on Star Sports 2 Hindi and streamed live on JioHotstar. The agreement will provide cricket fans across the country with uninterrupted live coverage of both the men’s and women’s tournaments, increasing the reach and visibility of Delhi’s top T20 competition.

As it has quickly established as an important venue for local and national talent to display their abilities. With its extensive digital footprint and TV accessibility, fans will have simple access to all DPL 2025 matches.
Season 2 of the DPL begins on August 2, 2025, at the iconic Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi, with a blockbuster match between South Delhi Superstarz and defending champions East Delhi Riders. The highly anticipated duel will feature major names such as Navdeep Saini, Anuj Rawat, Ayush Badoni, and Digvesh Rathi, laying the groundwork for an exciting season ahead.
The Delhi Premier League Season 2 will include eight men’s teams divided into two groups. Outer Delhi Warriors, Central Delhi Kings, New Delhi Tigers, and North Delhi Strikers will compete in Group A, while West Delhi Lions, East Delhi Riders, South Delhi Superstarz, and Purani Dilli 6 will play in Group B.
Each team will play ten league games, one at home and one away against teams in their group, as well as one against each of the other groups. The top four teams will advance to the playoffs, culminating in the final on August 31, with September 1 reserved as a backup.
The women’s competition will be conducted from August 17 to 24, with four teams competing in a round-robin format. The top two teams from the league stage will proceed to the final on August 24.
Notably, the men’s tournament will include 44 matches, including the league stage, playoffs, and final, whereas the women’s tournament will only have seven.
This season’s Delhi Premier League will prioritise not only top-tier competition, but also fan interaction, digital accessibility, and developing new talent.
