There were a lot of outstanding performances at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Saturday, April 6, during the recent match between the Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bengaluru. It was now the time for star RR batsman Jos Buttler to emulate Virat Kohli, who had achieved the first century of the IPL in 2024.
With Kohli’s unbeaten innings of 113 runs, the Royal Challenge of Bengal was able to score 183 runs in the first inning. With the intention of pursuing the goal, the hosts had a poor start when Yashasvi Jaiswal left the game for nothing. Jos Buttler’s knock, though, was what ultimately allowed Rajasthan to win.
RR won the match by six wickets thanks to Buttler’s century runs in 58 deliveries, which helped them win for the fourth time this season. The great opener took center stage following the game to discuss his performance and what it feels like to be returning to form.

“It was well-timed with a small amount of luck. Happy to have contributed to the victory. You have tension and anxiousness no matter how long you play the game, and that’s difficult. The mind has great power. Simply keep working hard and believing that everything will work out; there is no secret to success. Focus on the things you have done well. According to IndiaToday, Buttler stated, “You need a little bit of luck along the way.”
In fact, I felt great after the last game. Jos Buttler
In addition, Buttler stated that he felt good about his previous game, citing his early-season performances, and disclosed that he only needed one inning to maintain his form.
“I had a great feeling during the last game. At the beginning of the year, I had an excellent competition in South Africa. I kind of carried over from the end of that innings, where I had some difficulty, into the IPL. I thought I needed an inning to finish things off and move on,” Buttler remarked.
