Babar Azam, the captain of Pakistan, has struggled in the current T20 World Cup 2024. In the two games the Men in Green lost, he scored 13 runs against India and 44 runs in 43 balls against the USA. Though they are now in danger of being eliminated, Pakistan still has a chance to get to the Super 8. To do that, the 2022 champions must triumph in their final games by a wide margin and hope that Ireland defeats the United States.
In their next game, Pakistan will play Canada, and pacer Kaleem Sana has stated that he wants to take out Babar and Mohammad Rizwan. It’s interesting to note that Babar’s companion Sana is from Pakistan. After playing together for seven years, the two cricket players parted ways. Prior to taking Babar to task once more, Sana stated that, as a new-ball bowler, his goal is to remove the top order batsmen.
“My objectives will (obviously) be Rizwan and Babar since I bowl with the new ball. “I played my final first-class match in Pakistan while Babar was playing for the other team,” Kaleem Sana told Geo News.
The last time Canada and Pakistan played each other on the T20I circuit was in 2008. The fact that neither team knows enough about the other might make this a competitive game. At Nassau County International Cricket Stadium, Canada’s 137 runs against Ireland remain the greatest batting total ever. They also looked impressive at the bat in their match against the USA.

Pakistan’s bowling squad appears formidable, but considering the form of the Canadian hitters lately, it will not be an easy challenge for them. For them, Navneet Dhaliwal, Nicholas Kirton, and Shreyas Movva have been indispensable and can be so again. Pakistan’s hitters will need to step up if they are to prevail. It would be challenging for Pakistan to win if Canada scored more than 120.
