KKR’s battle against RCB will begin.
The tournament will begin with the defending champions, KKR, playing their opening match against rivals, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, at their home field, Eden Gardens, in Kolkata.
Their most recent matchup with the Men in Red was game 36, which was played at the same location on April 21, 2024, and was an exciting, high-scoring contest. Andre Russell was named the player of the match for his all-around performance as KKR defeated RCB by a final margin of one run.
