KL Rahul, the standout batsman and wicketkeeper for Delhi, made a fantastic cameo at number three before being removed by Prasidh Krishna during a match against the Gujarat Titans. With 28 runs off just 14 deliveries, the 33-year-old hitter attacked the bowlers during the match.
Some excellent strokes were shown, despite Rahul’s inability to play the lengthy innings for which he is renowned. He has now surpassed the previous record for the fastest Indian to reach 200 sixes in the IPL with this blow. Rahul just needed 128 innings to reach the milestone. The Champions Trophy victor gave himself some leeway and easily cleared far on with a lofted on drive, setting up the historic six off Mohammed Siraj’s bowling.
Below Rahul on the current ranking are Suresh Raina (193 innings), Virat Kohli (180 innings), Rohit Sharma (185 innings), and MS Dhoni (165 innings). Third place on the overall ranking goes to Rahul as well. Rahul is surpassed by two players: Chris Gayle, who reached the 200-sixes mark in 69 innings, and Andre Russell, who did it in 97 innings.
KL Rahul’s initial season

His finest innings came at the Chinnaswamy against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru, where he hit a game-winning knock of 93* as his team was struggling. During this innings, one of the biggest names in Indian cricket today demonstrated his class and skill.
