Before Bengaluru FC, owned by JSW Sports, plays Mohun Bagan Super Giant, owned by Sanjiv Goenka, in the ISL 2025 final on Saturday, April 12, Indian football fans are anticipating an exciting conclusion to the 2024–25 Indian Super League season. KL Rahul, a star batsman for India and a member of the Delhi Capitals, sent a heartfelt message to the team.
While playing for an IPL team that owns the Bengaluru franchise in the ISL, Rahul, a Karnataka native, didn’t hold back when wishing the team well in the summit match. A personalised BFC shirt featuring his name was also given to the 32-year-old.
I’m KL Rahul. Hello, everyone. Best wishes for BFC’s performance in this Saturday’s ISL final.
I shall be cheering for all of you and watching it with excitement. Warmest regards to Sunil and the entire team. Feel free to have fun and play like champions, just like you have done all season. Enjoy the final, Bengaluru, and bring it home for us. He said, “Come on, BFC,” in a video that Bengalurufc uploaded to X.

When Rahul was a member of Goenka’s IPL club, the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), he also attended Mohun Bagan SG games beforehand. Rahul’s replacement as LSG captain, Rishabh Pant, was most recently seen supporting Mohun Bagan during their victory over Jamshedpur FC in the semi-finals in Kolkata, where Goenka and other LSG employees were also there.
On Thursday, April 8, Rahul delivered his statement following his batting prowess against Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the Chinnaswamy Stadium. The game was won by his team thanks to a game-winning 93* off 53 balls from the right-hander. Additionally, he hit the winning six and did a celebration based on the Kantara movie.
