The day had finally arrived when the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) celebrated their IPL title victory. Krunal Pandya, one of the Men in Red’s stars, bowled a match-winning spell of 2/17 with the title on the line.
Krunal Pandya’s outstanding performance earned him the Player of the Match award in the final. In a recent Instagram picture, the great all-rounder emulated his brother Hardik Pandya’s legendary celebration of winning the T20 World Cup in 2024 and the Champions Trophy in 2025 by standing with the trophy. Fans on social media have also responded positively to Krunal’s message, saying it reminds them of two ICC occurrences.
It is safe to conclude that the Pandya brothers have had a successful two years, winning big titles and making significant contributions to their teams. Krunal won his fourth IPL trophy overall, and it was his second time winning the Player of the Match award in the final, having done so in 2017 with the Mumbai Indians. During the final game, the 34-year-old all-rounder scored 47 runs off 38 deliveries.

Krunal Pandya, IPL 2025
Krunal’s famous performance was not limited to the final match. He was an important element of the Men in Red all season. Krunal may have only played a few quality knocks with the bat this season, but he was one of the team’s top performers with the ball and made some excellent fielding catches as well.
In terms of bowling performance, he was RCB’s equal second-highest wicket-taker this season, with 17 wickets in 15 games at an average of 22.29 and an economy rate of 8.23. His greatest effort was against the Mumbai Indians at Wankhede Stadium, where he took 4/45 in a high-scoring thriller.
