Ryan Rickelton was totally outplayed by Kuldeep Yadav in Match 29 of the current Indian Premier League between the Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Sunday, April 13. With a genuinely amazing ball, Kuldeep took out the dangerous-looking Rickelton, continuing his bizarre success against left-handed batters.
The delivery dropped on a good length after being sent up near the off stump. Rickelton tried a cut while batting on 41. He failed to consider the googly, though, which ultimately jangled in sharply to remove the batter’s middle stump. Naturally, Kuldeep was ecstatic with the wicket and launched himself into a mini-run with his arms outstretched.

Ryan Rickelton scored two sixes and five fours in his 41 (25) innings.
After gaining the start, which he ultimately did, he appeared ready for a huge one. Remarkably, this knock was Rickelton’s second-highest IPL 2025 score. In MI’s lone victory of the current competition (against Kolkata Knight Riders at the Wankhede Stadium), he stayed undefeated at 62 off 41 deliveries.
DC won the toss and chose to field first earlier in the evening. Both sides named the same XIs. With the first wicket lost, 59 runs were scored during the powerplay. After 12 deliveries, Rohit Sharma left for 18. When Rohit tried to slog sweep off a delivery of shortish length in the last delivery of Vipraj Nigam’s first over, he got stuck in front.
