Rahul had an outstanding year as a batsman in 2023. He has participated in 30 international matches in the current year and achieved a total of 1,203 runs. The wicketkeeper batsman had a regrettable hamstring injury during IPL 2023, resulting in his exclusion from the competition. Nevertheless, he recovered his physical condition and made a comeback for both the 2023 Asia Cup and the ODI World Cup, which took place in his native country.
