Morrisville Samp Army have made a habit of winnings! Their bowlers were spot on today! They bowled according to the conditions and kept Team Abu Dhabi on the back foot but all of them bowled a dizzy second overs. They went for plenty and were on the verge of losing but Karim Janat and Muhammad Zahid bowled brilliantly at the back end. Despite losing, Team Abu Dhabi are still in the hunt for playoffs though.
Team Abu Dhabi were reeling at 27/3 and it felt like it would be one way traffic from here on however, Bairstow stepped up for his team. He hit the first boundary of the innings after 25 balls and suddenly there was raining boundaries. Jonny Bairstow scored 27 runs off Sharafuddin Ashraf and from there on he was in unstoppable mood. It was a lone effort actually for Team Abu Dhabi and at one point, near the fag end of the innings it felt like it would be an easy win for Team Abu Dhabi but Morrisville Samp Army bowled brilliantly in the last two overs to claw back in the game.
What a start to Freaky Friday! Morrisville Samp Army once again have found a way to win their match and their unbeaten streak continues. A top two finish is certain for them now. Jonny Bairstow will be gutted, despite doing such a good job, he didn't get much strike in the final over and came on the wrong side of the match.
