Faf du Plessis contributed a well-paced 59, keeping the scoreboard ticking over at a steady rate. After the fall of the openers, the Kings lost a few quick wickets, but the early onslaught had already done the damage. Despite some late hiccups, the Kings managed to post a mammoth total of 218/6 in their allotted 20 overs, a score that put them in a commanding position.
