Right then, a much-needed win for Rajshahi, which helps them leapfrog Khulna into 4th spot, while Sylhet remain in 6th. We are not done for the day just yet, as there’s one more contest to look forward to on this Fantastic Friday. It’s a mouthwatering top-of-the-table clash as the league leaders and the only unbeaten side in the competition, Rangpur Riders, take on the Chittagong Kings. With this being the Chittagong leg, expect the home crowd to be out in full force. The first ball will be bowled at 6.30 pm IST (1 pm GMT), but be sure to join us earlier for all the build-up. See you then. Cheers!
The captain of Durbar Rajshahi, Anamul Haque says that it was a very important game for them and he is happy that the team delivered. Feels that they were 15-20 runs short but the bowlers did a perfect job. Lauds Sunzamul Islam for the way he bowled despite not having much experience. Reckons that the batters not converting starts is a concern but hopes that they can step up as a unit.
Sunzamul Islam is the PLAYER OF THE MATCH for his brilliant bowling performance. He had figures of 3 for 25 from his 4 overs. He starts by praising the Almighty. He states that he is happy that he was able to contribute to the team. He also says that he planned to keep it slow and get the ball to turn. Ends by thanking his teammates for their support.
Time for the presentation ceremony...
Earlier in the game, it was a story of starts squandered by Durbar Rajshahi after they opted to bat first. All of their top five batters got going but failed to convert those starts into substantial scores, with Ryan Burl top-scoring with 41. Sylhet Strikers were far from their best with the ball, and that in some ways aided Rajshahi in reaching 184, despite their own failures in turning starts into big contributions. Stay tuned for the presentation ceremony...
With 185 runs to get, the Strikers lost both openers in the first three overs, but Zakir Hasan built a crucial partnership with George Munsey. While Munsey struggled to find his rhythm, Zakir kept the boundaries coming and looked comfortable on a challenging wicket. At 71/2, it seemed like the Strikers could mount a chase, but once Zakir fell, everything unraveled. In a matter of a few overs, they slipped to 101/7, losing 5 wickets for just 30 runs. Jaker Ali was left with everything to do, but his departure was the final nail in the coffin, sealing the Strikers' fate.
Durbar Rajshahi return to winning ways with an emphatic victory! Smiles all around in Rajshahi camp as they not only secure the two points but also improve their net run rate with a commanding 65-run victory. As for the Sylhet Strikers, they never really threatened while chasing. When only two of your top five batters cross 30, you don’t win many games.

OUT! TAKEN! The final nail in the coffin! Aftab Alam bowls it on a good length, outside off. Jaker Ali backs away to hoist it downtown but ends up getting the outer part of his willow. The ball loops towards the cover fielder. It's once again the skipper, Anamul Haque who settles under it and takes a fine catch.

Halt! The magic spray comes out for Aftab Alam, who has taken a blow on the left palm. He looks fine to continue.
