The third edition of the Uttar Pradesh T20 League 2025 will begin on Sunday, August 17, at Lucknow’s Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium India.
The initial matches will feature the previous edition’s finalists, Meerut Mavericks and Kanpur Superstars.
The league includes six teams: Noida Super Kings, Kashi Rudras, Meerut Mavericks, Kanpur Superstars, Gorakhpur Lions, and Lucknow Falcons. The competition, which runs from August 17 to September 6, will consist of 34 matches, including the Eliminator, Qualifier 1, Qualifier 2, and the Final. The top four teams in the points standings will advance to the knockout stage. The legendary Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow will host all of the games, which will commence at 7:30 PM IST and 3:00 PM IST on double-headers.
Meanwhile, in preparation for Match #1, the board has planned a lavish opening ceremony featuring performances by Disha Patani, Tamannaah Bhatia, and Sunidhi Chauhan.
