On Sunday, October 6, in Gwalior, Team India’s new express fast Mayank Yadav made a spectacular start to his Twenty20 International career against Bangladesh. When Yadav made a flawless start to his T20I career by bowling a maiden in his first over of his international career, pace bowling looked like a match made in heaven.
He was put on the attack in the game’s sixth over by captain Suryakumar Yadav. From the first ball itself, the young one was spot on. Amazingly, as a maiden, he proceeded to ball the first over. By doing so, the 22-year-old joined Ajit Agarkar and Arshdeep Singh as the only other Indian bowlers to deliver a maiden over in their debut Twenty20 International match.
Additionally, Mayank Yadav’s quickness in his second over allowed him to defeat Mahmudullah, a hitter from Bangladesh. Despite not taking another wicket during the match, he had a respectable start to his debut international career, giving up just 21 runs in his allotted four overs. The seasoned batter tried to whack him for a big shot and dance down the track. Washington Sundar, who was positioned in the deep point area, consequently claimed his first wicket of the innings.

Speaking on how the first Twenty20 International match between Bangladesh and India has gone thus far, lead pacer Arshdeep Singh stunned the visiting team’s top order. Subsequently, Varun Chakravarthy, the mystery spinner who made a comeback, joined the group and they divided the three victims among themselves. As things became more difficult, Mayank’s outstanding bowling performance put the Bangla Tigers even more on the back foot.

Bangladesh was therefore dismissed for 127 runs in 19.5 overs. Team India will be desperate to win the opening match in the current T20I series since it has been a low-scoring contest thus far.
