IPL 2025 Memes: Hilarious Reactions from KKR vs SRH, Match 15 at Eden Gardens

On Thursday, April 3, at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by 80 runs in match No. 15 of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025.

After losing their openers in the first three overs, KKR had a horrible start. But Angkrish Raghuvanshi and Ajinkya Rahane’s incredible 81-run combination off 51 deliveries calmed the ship. By quickly taking the wickets of the two set batters, SRH regained a significant lead in the game. Raghuvanshi struck five fours and two sixes to reach 50 off just 32 balls.

Together, Rinku Singh and Venkatesh Iyer scored 91 runs off of 41 balls. The former got out in the last over after smashing 60 off just 29 balls. The home team concluded on 200/6 in their 20 overs, with Rinku remaining undefeated at 32 off 17 deliveries.

Vaibhav Arora had a great stint with the new ball in the second innings, taking out Travis Head and Ishan Kishan. Abhishek Sharma, whose lacklustre IPL 2025 form persisted, was removed by Harshit Rana.

After SRH fell to 9/3 in 2.1 overs, Nitish Kumar Reddy and Kamindu Mendis attempted to salvage the innings. During his brief spell at the crease, the former looked good. But he was fired by Andre Russell after he scored 19. Additionally, Kamindu made a few enjoyable shots prior to leaving for Sunil Narine.

Heinrich Klaasen and the unbeaten Aniket Verma were the main targets. Varun Chakaravarthy, however, cheaply rejected the latter. At the end of the innings, Arora returned for his last over and took out Klaasen, who scored 33 off 21 balls. Additionally, Pat Cummins struck a number of boundaries to narrow the loss margin. The visitors were ultimately bowled out for 120 in 16.4 overs.

Chakaravarthy and Arora each took three wickets. Despite his high price tag, Russell took two wickets. Narine and Harshit Rana both contributed one wicket.
