The opener for the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), Mitchell Marsh, commended his skipper, Rishabh Pant, for his leadership abilities during the current IPL 2025. Having played for the Delhi Capitals (DC) under Pant’s leadership, Marsh is familiar with him and has witnessed his development.
Due of Pant’s enormous pay, several doubts are being raised about him. Nevertheless, the athlete has struggled to score runs with the bat and has switched positions regularly. Despite this, LSG is in a strong position after winning five of their last nine games. To make it to the playoffs, they will need to win at least three more games, and they still have five games left.
Marsh had a strong start to the season. He has scored 344 runs at an average of 43 in eight games thus far. His ranking on the Orange Cap list is seventh. Marsh responded that “he’s growing” when questioned about Pant’s captaincy prior to the match against the Mumbai Indians (MI).
As you can see, he’s still quite young and I believe he’s developing into a capable leader. Indeed, he is simply improving each day. Mitchell Marsh was cited as saying, “I’m looking forward to hopefully playing under him for a while.”

Marsh also discussed how he has been enjoying batting and his role in the club. But he also disclosed that he can roll his arms if the squad needs him. He bats for the LSG club as an Impact Player right now.
“There’s no doubt that going only as a batter is a different experience. I feel like I’m playing baseball. It’s been a great time. Yes, I am available for the role anytime they need me on the pitch or when my bowling returns. The dream will therefore end,” Marsh continued.
