In Match 61 of the 2025 IPL between the Lucknow Super Giants and Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Ekana Stadium, Mitchell Marsh’s six dented the showcase car. The team, led by Marsh and Aiden Markram, got off to a fast start and sped to 69 for no loss at six overs.
Marsh hit a back-of-a-length ball that Eshan Malinga had given on the first ball of the sixth over over the deep backward square leg for six. The exhibition automobile directly behind the advertising hoardings was dented when the ball struck it, not only after it cleared the ropes.
After just 28 deliveries, Mitchell Marsh reached his half-century, his sixth of the season, two overs later.
As both hitters swept through the SRH’s attack and took them on right away, the opening duo continued to score more than 11 runs per over. After a solid 65, Marsh was dismissed, making it Harsh Dubey’s first IPL wicket.

Meanwhile, with SRH already eliminated from playoff contention, the home side’s qualification hopes remain determined not just on winning the ongoing match but also on the result of Mumbai Indians’ fixtures. If Mumbai Indians lose both of their remaining games and Punjab Kings topple Delhi Capitals, then the path of LSG will become open. However, they are in a must-win territory and any points dropped at this stage will end their campaign.
Gujarat Titans (GT), Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) have made way into the playoffs, with only spot remaining vacant. Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals are the other two teams fighting for that berth alongside LSG.
