After the Indian Premier League (IPL) was suspended for a week, Mitchell Starc was getting ready to leave New Delhi airport for Australia when a fan invaded his privacy, causing him to lose his temper.
Starc took 14 wickets at an average of 26.14 from 11 games while playing for the Delhi Capitals (DC) in the 2025 Indian Premier League. After the IPL was halted on May 9 because to tensions across the border between India and Pakistan, he went back home last week.
Starc could be seen packing his bags into the tram in the widely shared footage. The renowned Australian seamen became irritated as the fan started filming a vlog. “Go away,” he yelled at the fan.
Many people have viewed and rewatched the video on the internet. Others thought Starc was a little impolite to the speedster, while others have scolded the fan for bothering him.

Mitchell Starc chooses not to play the rest of the 2025 IPL.
It was uncertain whether Starc would play in the remaining IPL 2025. Due to the 35-year-old’s decision to not return on Friday, May 16, DC is in a difficult situation. Additionally not coming back is Starc’s countryman Jake Fraser-McGurk, who also played for DC. Mustafizur Rahman has been substituted for the opening batsman. The Bangladeshi pacer will, however, begin a Twenty20 International series against the United Arab Emirates on May 17. No information has been confirmed on when he will join the team managed by Axar Patel.
The Capitals are presently ranked fifth in the standings. Six games have been won and four have been lost. One game they played ended without a winner. At the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Sunday, May 18, Delhi will play the Gujarat Titans, who are currently atop the league, to resume their season. If the Capitals win on Sunday, they will gain much-needed momentum. Their most recent victory over the Lucknow Super Giants occurred on April 22.
