The IPL 2024 championship game between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kolkata Knight Riders will take place at Chennai’s MA Chidambaram Stadium. SRH skipper Pat Cummins decided to bat first after winning the toss.
Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head were the first batters to reach the crease, but Mitchell Starc stole the show in the opening over when he produced an incredible delivery that removed Abhishek Sharma. Abhishek was left without any response after such a flawless delivery.
With a delivery that tilted in, luring Abhishek forward, and then nipped away wickedly, disrupting the left-hander’s off-stump, Starc demonstrated his brilliance once again and proved his mettle in big games. All Abhishek could do was stomp out of the room.

As of right now, KKR has taken four wickets in the first seven overs, solidifying their control over the game, while SRH has managed to muster just 47 runs. Going forward, it will be interesting to watch how the SRH hitters respond to the KKR bowling assault and whether they can get a respectable total.
