Moeen Ali was full of praise for de Kock, who ended the contest with a decisive innings.
“Quinton is an experienced player who has been around for a while,” he said, describing the “amazing innings” and the way the South African wicketkeeper made batting appear natural. He made the Rajasthan Royals bowlers, particularly Jofra Archer, appear to be bowling very slowly during his incredible century.
After losing their last game, Moeen found the win especially delicious. “It’s just nice to get a win within your first couple of games so you don’t overthink things,” he stated. With ‘a bit of swing, a bit of seam’ and just enough spin, Ali said the pitch, which had something for everyone, suited KKR’s skills.
“When you go to teams that have won the trophy, they know what they’re doing,” Moeen said as he reflected on joining a team that has won a title. They have three victories. Everything is quiet.
Moeen Ali and de Kock have already demonstrated their complete integration into the winning ethos of the Knight Riders with this decisive victory. On Monday, March 31, the team will take a plane to Mumbai to play the Mumbai Indians in their third IPL 2025 encounter.
