Travis Head, the top batsman for Australia, was bowled for a duck in the first innings of the Boxing Day Test at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) after scoring two significant hundreds in the final two games of the series, leaving the Indian camp feeling festive.
Since Head did not try a shot and saw his stumps becoming rattled in the end, Jasprit Bumrah’s inswinger, which came back from way outside off stump, was the catalyst for the breakthrough. Mohammad Kaif tweeted that he was pleased with the way the Indian bowler celebrated the wicket, one of the many experts who applauded Bumrah’s delivery.
In what ways does Bumrah rejoice at the firing of Travis Head, Australia’s star player? Nothing extravagant, no furious farewell, just a grin. Make careful choices while choosing role models for children. Kaif’s writing on X.

How does Bumrah celebrate the dismissal of Australia’s main man Travis Head? No over-the-top celebration, no angry send off, just a smile. Kids learn, choose your role models wisely. #INDvAUS

Once more, Jasprit Bumrah spearheaded the assault.
The finest bowler for India thus far in this series is Jasprit Bumrah, who maintained his form in the Boxing Day Test as well. The 31-year-old pacer helped India gain some respite from the day, which was still heavily skewed in favour of the Australians, by finishing the day with figures of 3/75 in his 21 overs.
In order to give the Indian batsmen an opportunity to take the lead in the first innings and put pressure on the Australians as they attempt to win the Border-Gavaskar title for the fourth time in a row, Bumrah will be looking to finish off the Australian tail as quickly as possible on Day 2. This brings his series total to 24 wickets.
