Mohsin Naqvi, the chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), inspected the National Bank Cricket Stadium in Karachi, where renovations are currently underway, in detail on Wednesday. The visit took place as Pakistan gets ready to host the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, which is set for February or March of the following year.
For the forthcoming tournament, the National Stadium, one of Pakistan’s top cricket venues, is undergoing significant renovations to suit international standards. Throughout his thorough examination, Naqvi paid close attention to enhancements meant to improve the viewing experience.
He gave the remodelling crew instructions to move the electronic scoreboard so cricket spectators could see it without obstruction. The stadium’s infrastructure was also practically altered as a result of the chairman’s visit. The parking facilities were moved closer to the stadium, as Naqvi also noted.
