English cricketer Tom Curran made headlines lately when he was handed a four-match ban in the current Big Bash League. Curran was charged with a Level 3 infraction in accordance with Cricket Australia’s code of conduct due to an incident that occurred before the match in which he nearly collided with the reserve umpire. The Tom Curran ban has put the cricket community in a chokehold. Also making the rounds on social media is the video of the incident in which Curran was seen interacting with the umpire. Many admirers spoke out against Tom Curran behavior. Moises Henriques, the captain of the Sydney Sixers, stepped forward to support Curran, however.
