Starting on March 22 (Saturday), former India and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain MS Dhoni is putting in a lot of preparation for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025.
In the meantime, on Sunday, March 23, the Yellow Army will play the Mumbai Indians (MI) in Chepauk to begin their IPL 2025 campaign.
The helicopter shot is the 43-year-old wicketkeeper-batter’s signature move, but in one of the training films shared on the IPL’s official social media pages, MSD was seen playing a scoop shot.

MS Dhoni hasn’t used this shot much in his career thus far, but the IPL 2025 might alter everything.
Reaching new heights has always been MSD’s strength.
Owing to a knee ailment, Dhoni only batted in the final overs of the previous season, but he still amassed 161 runs at an average of 53.66 and an incredible strike rate of 220.54.
Dhoni was also seen practicing range hitting and sending a few of deliveries over the fence in the same video.
