Yograj Singh, Yuvraj Singh’s father, was a fervent admirer of former Indian captain MS Dhoni. The former right-arm medium bowler praised Dhoni’s ability to think analytically.
In my opinion, Dhoni is a highly driven captain who can provide instructions. “Dhoni’s ability to read the wicket and instruct bowlers where to bowl was his greatest quality,” Yograj posted on Unfiltered by Samdish.
On Dhoni, Yograj said, “What I liked most about him was that he was a fearless man.”
MS Dhoni bravery was highlighted in a previous Australia-India match, according to Yograj Singh.
“I found his fearlessness to be his greatest quality. As you may recall, Mitchell Johnson struck him on the grill in Australia, and he remained still. The following ball was then lifted for a six. Yograj continued, “There are very few people like him. Aise log kaafi kam hote hai.”
Remarkably, despite all of the criticism MS Dhoni has previously received from Yograj, the latter’s appreciation from Yograj is a welcome change.
“He needs to examine his features in the mirror. Yograj stated last year in an interview with Zed Switch’s YouTube channel, “He is a very big cricketer, but what he did against my son is coming out now; it can never be forgiven in life.” “I have never done two things in life—first, I have never forgiven anybody who has done wrong for me, and second, I have never hugged them in my life, be it my family members or my kids.”
In terms of their collaborations on the pitch, Yuvraj and Dhoni were a productive team. During their time out in the middle, the two tallied 4299 partnership runs at an average of 45.52 in 101 innings across all forms.
