For millions of young cricket players in the nation, even those who are from tiny areas, the former captain of India, MS Dhoni, is an inspiration who dared to dream big. The 42-year-old is nearing the end of his career and is expressing his gratitude to his loved ones in a unique way for their support. The wicketkeeper batsman was recently observed with a bat bearing a sticker from his longtime pal Paramjit Singh’s store, “Prime Sports.”
Because Paramjit Singh notably assisted Dhoni in obtaining sponsorship early in his career, Dhoni is thanking his pal by advertising his shop by placing a sticker on his bat during practice sessions leading up to the 2024 Indian Premier League. In response to Dhoni’s generosity, Paramjit recently stated that he has always supported him.
“I am quite pleased with him. He has supported us consistently. This is the nature of our friendship. Friendship No. 1: “Aaj Tak reported Paramjit Singh as saying. Additionally, he disclosed that Dhoni gave him an autographed bat with the words, “Best wishes, Chhotu Bhaiya.”

The renowned Australian wicketkeeper Adam Gilchrist also made a statement over Dhoni’s previous wearing of his friend’s sports shop sticker.
“MS Dhoni, I watched him hit several balls in the nets. His bat has a fresh bat sticker on it. Just a friend of his from school’s local sports store. To increase sales, just whack the brand name on your bat,” the commentator added.
In anticipation of IPL 2024, Dhoni is spotted sporting his previous look, with his hair grown out to resemble that of his early international cricket career. The 2019 IPL season is anticipated to be the final one for “Captain Cool,” who had assured his supporters that following the IPL 2023 championship, he would return for another season.
In 2023, MS Dhoni guided CSK to their fifth championship.
After leading Chennai Super Kings (CSK) to a record-tying fifth title by defeating Gujarat Titans in the championship game, the captain of CSK became the joint-most successful captain in league history. Despite a knee ailment, Dhoni persevered throughout the season and looked like a vintage player as he took early wickets.
In the 2023 edition, batting at a strike rate of 182.45 and hammering three fours and ten massive sixes, he scored 104 runs in 12 innings. The batsman, who was born in Ranchi, is excited to leave the league in style by taking home another championship in the next season.
