Nandre Burger replaces Sandeep Sharma due to injury for the Rajasthan Royals.
For the remainder of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, Nandre Burger was selected by the Rajasthan Royals (RR) to replace Sandeep Sharma due to injury.
Sandeep Sharma suffered a finger injury after playing ten games for RR this season and taking nine wickets. The left-arm South African pacer Nandre Burger has played for RR in the 2024 Indian Premier League, taking seven wickets in six games. For INR 3.5 crore, he joins RR.
In the game against the Gujarat Titans, Sharma was hurt when he attempted to block Shubman Gill‘s straight shot off his own bowling.
Currently in ninth place in the points system, the Rajasthan Royals have failed to put on a show in the ongoing IPL 2025. Although the team has been knocked out of the tournament, they still want to win their remaining games.
