Injured Naveen-ul-Haq is replaced for Bangladesh T20Is by Nijat Masood.

In the forthcoming two-match T20I series against Bangladesh, the Afghanistan Cricket Board has substituted Nijat Masood for the injured Naveen-ul-Haq.

In order to treat his knee problem, Naveen will fly to England, where he will likely have a small operation under the supervision of an orthopedic surgeon.

Asadullah Khan, the chief selection for the Afghanistan Cricket Board, informed CRIKETMOOD on Saturday, July 8, that Naveen-ul-Haq was anticipated to miss two months of action. We decided to go with a pace bowler since we felt Nijat was in good form, so we replaced Naveen with him.

Both teams will travel to Sylhet after the current three-match ODI series to play two T20I matches on July 14 and 16, respectively, at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium.
