In a five-match T20I series, West Indies won 3-2, and India suffered three losses. Our key player is Nicholas Pooran: Rovman Powell
Rovman Powell, the captain of the West Indies, lavished accolades on Pooran during the post-game speeches. The 30-year-old praised Pooran and said that the team’s management had requested him to perform well in three of the team’s five games, and the left-handed hitter didn’t let them down.
Nicholas Pooran is an important player for us; we asked him to deliver in at least three of the five games, and he did. Nobody can perform well in every game, so we asked him to attempt to win three games, according to Rovman.
For the West Indies, who have recently had trouble finding their footing in all formats, this was a much-needed series victory.
