[Watch] IPL 2025: Nicholas Pooran plunders Tristan Stubbs for 28-run over

On Monday, Match 24, in the 13th over of the Delhi Capitals vs. Lucknow Super Giants match in the 2025 Indian Premier League, Nicholas Pooran took Tristan Stubbs to the cleaners. During the current match at the Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Stadium in Visakhapatnam, the daring southpaw completely destroyed the part-timer, scoring 28 runs off his over.

It was quite forgettable when Stubbs went out with the ball. With the exception of the first delivery, which was a dot ball, he was hit for four consecutive tremendous sixes. The aggressive left-handed batter hammered the ball down the ground as the over came to an end.

A hostile half-century by Nicholas Pooran was brought up by the second maximum off Stubbs.

It was his tenth league half-century. Pooran appeared to be on track for an incredible hundred years. But after a thrilling 30-ball 75, Mitchell Starc got rid of him. His brilliant knock included seven maximums and six fours.

Axar Patel’s DC won the toss earlier in the evening and chose to field first. The LSG hitting team put up the heat right away, thus it was a choice they would later come to regret.
