The outstanding knock of Nitish Kumar Reddy was one of the many unforgettable moments of the third day of the current fourth Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024–25. Following their difficult position, the Indian squad was greatly improved by Reddy’s knock.
India scored 358 runs with the loss of nine wickets thanks to the 21-year-old, who remained undefeated with a score of 105 runs in 176 deliveries. The way his dad reacted in the grandstand when Reddy hit his first tonne was one of the game’s most widely shared moments.

In the same video, Mutyala Reddy, Nitish Reddy’s father, also spoke out and said how happy he was to see his son excel and how much his family had given for him over the years.
“Today, Nitish performed admirably. We have had a lot of hardship, and I am really proud. Mutyala Reddy stated in the video, “We are really grateful to the Indian team.”
He has a difficult journey ahead of him. I would just say that we are quite thrilled and proud. Tejaswi, Nitish’s sister, stated in the video, “He said it, and he did it.”
