One skill that Nitish Kumar Reddy would love to take from IPL greats like Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and MS Dhoni has been made public. According to Nitish, he would like learning how to be a captain from Dhoni, adopting Kohli’s aggression and passion in his play, and perfecting Rohit’s pull shot.
“I would adore having Dhoni’s captaincy abilities. I respect Kohli’s aggression and enthusiasm for the game. And on Jio Hotstar’s “Gen Bold” show, Reddy stated, “I would love to learn Rohit’s pull shot—it’s just amazing.”
The SRH player asserted that cricketing greats like Virat, Rohit, and others had influenced the current generation of Indian players. He intended to continue the tradition of the seniors, who he credited with elevating Indian cricket to new heights.
Nitish Kumar Reddy: I would adore competing against Abhishek Sharma.
“Iranian cricket legends like Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma have influenced this generation of players. We hope to continue their legacy of elevating Indian cricket to new heights. According to Reddy, players like Virat, Rohit, and Jasprit are genuinely invaluable to Indian cricket.
Surprisingly, when asked which bowler he would most like to face, Nitish mentioned Abhishek Sharma, whom he has faced in the SRH camp’s nets.
“I’d be thrilled to take on Abhishek Sharma. We constantly challenge one another in fierce online competitions. In games as well, I want to maintain that spirit of competition,” Nitish continued.
So far, the SRH star has participated in three IPL 2025 games. He gave his team a significant boost in the game against RR by scoring 30 off of 15. He scored 32(28) off of a somewhat careful knock against LSG. The up-and-coming talent received a silver duck and failed to score a run against DC.
