Pacer Simarjeet Singh of the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) thanked MS Dhoni, saying that the renowned wicketkeeper-batter’s advice helped him advance in T20 cricket.
With 15 wickets taken for the East Delhi Riders, the right-arm seamer is leading the league in wickets taken during his incredible debut season in the Delhi Premier League (DPL). He praised Dhoni for his understanding of the game’s shortest format and mentioned how much he values simplicity.
“MS Dhoni has assisted me in improving as a T20 bowler. I don’t think anyone else is as knowledgeable about Twenty20 cricket as he is,” Sportstar cited the 26-year-old as saying. “MS Dhoni has helped me with more than one thing; he has taught me a lot of things.” He usually simplifies things for us when we ask for assistance, telling us that playing basic cricket is the best.”
All Indian players have been told by the BCCI to be available for domestic cricket matches. As a result, many veteran cricket players will be playing for their home teams again, and Simarjeet is excited to learn from them.
All I want to do is find out when senior Indian cricket players visit and participate in local matches. For them, we get to learn a lot,” he remarked.
Before the Indian Premier League (IPL) big auction, Simarjeet aspires to improve himself and sharpen his abilities.
All I want to do is play cricket. My goals are to improve as a cricket player with whichever team selects me and to contribute wherever I’m picked,” he said.
One of the more experienced members of the East Delhi Riders team, Simarjeet, stated that the DPL will give the younger players a fantastic opportunity to propel themselves into consideration for state call-ups.
