[WATCH] IPL 2025: Noor Ahmad’s twin strikes rattle KKR at Eden Gardens

At Kolkata’s Eden Gardens, the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will play the reigning champion Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). The team returned to the match when Afghan spinner Noor Ahmad took two wickets in a single over.

With Sunil Narine and Ajinkya Rahane at the crease, the left-arm spinner bowled the ninth over. In his first delivery, the wrist spinner flung up a ball to the left-hander, who came down the pitch to slug it away. The ball rolls to MS Dhoni, the wicketkeeper, after the batter is battered. Before the West Indies cricketer could return to the crease, the CSK captain was able to whip the bails off.

When Angkrish Raghuvanshi was given the fourth ball of the same over, which was pitched on the outside off, the youthful player prodded the ball to gain an outside edge. The right-hander was sent back to the pavilion after the seasoned goalie made the catch. Ultimately, the left-arm bowler conceded 31 runs and claimed four wickets throughout his four-over stint.
