The focus of the upcoming ODI World Cup 2023 was drawn to veteran Indian cricketer Ravi Shastri remarks regarding Indian batter Ishan Kishan, as the Indian team defeated South Africa in game 37.
Kishan left the field in between an over with a message for the two batters in the middle of the game while Virat Kohli and Shreyas Iyer were developing their alliance.
Ravi Shastri provided a funny analysis of the incident as it was shown on television.
Shastri expressed his opinion that Kishan would be held responsible if something went wrong and one of the batters was benched. “As soon as aisa vaisa kuch ho gaya, Kishan ki khichegi galat message dene ke liye.” Shastri joked wonderfully on air, “(If something goes wrong, Kishan will be held accountable).”
It was a momentous occasion when the star Indian batsman reached his century, matching Sachin Tendulkar’s ODI record on his 35th birthday, as Kohli was steadily approaching his century.
